Anime Review – Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 8

Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 8
Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 8

Things took a twisting turn in Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 8 when it came out last yesterday. The Paradis forces finally completed the first part of their mission and are now retreating to the island. The Anime will be showing events at Paradis island once more as the fight at Marley has ended. The survey corps swiftly attacked Marley’s intermittent zone and ended up getting the Warhammer titan and the Beast titan with them.

What was more surprising was when Zeke appeared to be on Marley’s side, appeared at the end, and conspired with the survey corps. The Anime will show the full story behind this incident in the next episodes, about how Zeke is a Jaeger and how he was a spy at Marley all this time. Maybe this is connected to Eren’s father, a Jaeger, which means that Zeke has been spying on the Marleyan kingdom for years.

With the first battle finally over, it looks like this is just the beginning of the war that is yet to come. The survey corps have gained two mighty titans on their side and now have a lot of power. As they say it, this is the first battle, and they have to get back to the island and make preparations before the world attacks them. There aren’t as many mighty titans left out there. But the world has the advantages of the numbers against Paradis Island.

Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 9 will release this weekend and see the next step that the survey corpse will take. They are against the entire Marley kingdom, which has advanced anti titan weapons technology and a few of the nine titans with them.

Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 8: Survey Corps Win The Battle

Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 8

Eren vs. Reiner

The last episode of Attack on Titan Season 4 ended with Eren consuming the Warhammer titan and was going for the Jaw Titan next. Reiner used the last of his strength to save the Jaw titan just when Eren ran out of stamina and planned to withdraw. The event was a devastating one and has left many kids from Marley with hatred towards Paradis island.

Falco and Gabi stowed on the retreating airship and managed to kill a few of the survey corps, including Sasha. So they are now within the mercy of the survey corps, but it seems like they will not kill them. This is a good opportunity for them to see how life is like in Paradis island that they know as hell. Falco followed to save Gabi, who was prepared to die as she boarded the ship with just a gun.

The aftermath of the battle has left the intermittent zone destroyed with many casualties in the Marleyan army, with very few death in the survey corps squad. The end of the battle now moves the story to the Paradis island, which will be appearing for the first time this season. Falco and Gabi, who appear to be the Marleyan army’s future, are also en route to see Paradis Island.

We are not yet sure what the survey corps will do with them. But they won’t be killed anytime soon. Falco has heard from Eren that the people at Paradis island are the same as those in Marley. So Falco understands why there is this much fighting, so maybe he might be thinking of a different path than revenge and killing each other.

Zeke is a Jaeger and Was Spying on Marley

Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 8

Zeke Jaeger reveals his true motives.

Zeke has been wielding the Beast titan and appeared as an important marleyan soldier. Revealed his true family name and that he is a Jeger. He has been working with the survey corps all this time, which means that he has been an ally. We don’t know the full details surrounding that yet. So whether this has to do with the Beast titan’s memories or abilities, we are not yet sure.

But as Zeke is now talking to Levi and the survey corps leaders about it, they will tell us what happened soon. All this turned out to be his plan that Zeke will get caught in the enemy base. And then the survey corps will come and rescue him. It might be a plan that has been carried out through the Beast titan memories, like how eren remembers past events through his titan powers.

But now there seems to be a lot of unanswered questions. Falco and Gabe appeared before Zeke, Eren, and Levi. Zeke asked them what they were doing there and now sees them as a miscalculation. Another strange thing happening is when the survey corps restrained Eren as soon as he returns inside the airship. It is not yet clear why they would restrain him. But even Zeke, who appeared as their ally, was restrained, so it might have to do with their titan powers.

We will find out more about that in the next episode. And as usual, you will be able to catch the new episodes online on Crunchyroll. For more updates on the list of anime episodes releasing this week. You can take a look at our Anime news weekly updates.
