Rafael Nadal became a professional player at the young age of 15 and contested in 2 ITF junior circuit events. Why did Toni Nadal, Left Rafael?

In the year 2017, in late February, Toni declared openly that he had decided to retire from his nephew’s coaching team. He had also informed Moyá and his brother (Rafael’s father) Sebastián of his decision. Toni Nadal initially didn’t tell his plans to Rafa, about separating from Rafael, Rafa found out in the news when it was released in the press. Toni Nadal didn’t tell Rafa about his plan because he didn’t want to draw away his focus from playing tennis. Later Toni announced that he regretted his decision to keep this news from his nephew.

Currently, Toni plans to work at the Rafa Nadal Academy, and he declared openly that he wants to work with younger players and develop their inner talent. Rafael said that he is delighted to know that his Uncle Toni is accomplishing what he wants and doesn’t hold any anger toward his withdrawal. Rafael said he acknowledged it was a great time for Uncle Toni to focus on his plans like the Tennis Academy.
