Amazing Race Australia, an Australian counterpart of the international Amazing Race series, is a reality game show about adventure. According to the concept of previous incarnations of the genre, the show follows two-person teams as they race across the world.
As part of the race, which is broken up into legs, teams must decipher clues, navigate foreign territory, interact with locals, accomplish physical and mental activities, and travel by aircraft, boat, car, taxi, and other modes of transportation. Teams are gradually eliminated if they are the last to arrive at scheduled Pit Stops at the end of most legs. The winning team receives a $250,000 cash reward for crossing the finish line first.
The Amazing Race Australia 6 is the Australian adaptation of the American television show The Amazing Race, now in its sixth season. The episode airs on Network 10 and is the seventh of the current season. Twenty program participants compete against one another around the globe for the top prize of A$250,000 and two brand-new automobiles (an Isuzu D-MAX and an Isuzu MU-X).
