Finally, after years of speculation and hope, we are seeing the return of the Bleach anime, after an official announcement that was released earlier this year. It has been almost eight years since Bleach’s anime was canceled and left incomplete, while the manga too was canceled three years later. As a result, both the anime and manga were sadly rushed and that caused Bleach fans to not be satisfied with the abrupt ending, which left too many unanswered questions lingering around in fans’ minds.

However, the great news is, Bleach fans no longer need to speculate or hope that they will see an ending that they deserve. Not anymore, as Bleach is coming back but sadly due to the conditions around the world at this time, production is expected to be delayed. How delayed you might ask? Well, I have had an exclusive chat with the voice actor of Bleach’s Hanataro Yamada at Supanova Melbourne 2020. I asked Spike Spencer, the man behind Hanataro if he had been approached for a Bleach anime return yet.

Sadly, at the time of the interview, the news was only just released and Spencer had not been approached at that time. He later admitted that the voice actors of these anime series’ are unfortunately some of the last to find out about new productions. Therefore, we do know that Spencer hasn’t been approached yet, which means that other too may still be left in the dark about the anime’s return too. However, that also doesn’t means that plans haven’t started yet. Hopefully, when restrictions ease around the world, we will see more announcements of Bleach’s production.
