Our favorite Taxi Driver is back in business! After much anticipation and demand from the fans for a Season 2, this thrilling K-drama has kicked off its second season last week on February 17, 2023, and is anticipated to release the standard 16 episodes which will end around the beginning of April.

Just a quick recap of the previous season- Do Gi our main protagonist, had joined a Taxi Company called ‘Rainbow Taxi’ after his mother is murdered by a serial killer. This company however, is everything but ordinary! It’s in fact a little justice system of its own that avenges the death of those who weren’t compensated by the law.
The members of this association come together in hopes of providing the suffering victims a true sense of justice and lifting the burden off their shoulders by giving the perpetrators what they rightfully deserve.
Synopsis of Taxi Driver
The company had disbanded in the first season after they found out who the serial killer responsible for Do Gin’s mother’s death. However, the members could not go back to the ordinary life and ordinary job they had before joining the company.
With their passion to seek justice for those suffering because of the loopholes in the law system of South Korea, Rainbow Taxi is back in business with new members! Oh Ha Jun, a young and clumsy boy becomes a part of this organization after he accidentally stumbles into their secret base.
While the main goal of the members is still to fight against injustice and avenge the death of those done dirty by the legal system, season 2 of Taxi Driver brings in a new twist to their story. A mysterious new organization is now after Rainbow Taxi!
Their objective is yet unknown, but they confirm their existence after killing one of the criminals Do Gi was after; and escaped before he could pinpoint who it was. What is this organization and why are they hiding their identity?
Recap of Taxi Driver Season 2 Episode 2
Episode 2 of Taxi Driver marks the end of the Vietnam case that the Rainbow Taxi members had been pursuing. With the help of Go Eun, Do Gil is successful in fooling the goons who fall his bait. Jin Eon and Kyung Goo too save Do Gil from the risky situation that they had to face.
Go Eun sees the gang leader through Do Gil’s glasses, only to find out that the one who had orchestrated this whole scheme was none other than the chief of the police station she worked in!
At the end of Episode 2 we find out that the police chief was the one who spoke to Dong-jae’s father when he went to the police station to file a missing person report. She reveals his true identity to Do-gi and asks him to keep him safe. The workers are taken away to write suicide notes to their families after the chief orders their riddance.
