Filming Delicious took place entirely in France between September and October 2019 in the heights of Brezons in the Cantal. The crew went to an abandoned farm and transformed it into a movie set and gave it the æsthetics of the 18th Century with every single prop they could find. The director hired chefs Thierry Charrier and Jean-Charles Karrman to advise the production crew on 18th-century cooking techniques to historically portray food from that period.
