In an interview with the Taiwanese magazine Business Weekly, Niantic CEO John Hanke spoke about upcoming plans for Pokemon Go and provided updates about new Pokemon, the ability to battle other players, and other hopeful social features.
Perhaps the biggest tease was Hanke’s response when asked about what the game’s next “ace in the hole” was, and Hanke replied, “There is a lot of Pokémon that have not yet been launched, So I think the next secret weapon will be launch of the next Pokémon generation. I hope the players will soon see them.”
It can be clearly be said Niantic is bringing PVP in the game as promised. Early Niantic mentioned “This summer is going to be legendary” and they proved it right. Now with all these new Legendary Dogs and EX Battle Raid for Mewtwo Niantic sure has got a lot of things in their bags for all the fans.Apart from this big discovery in earlier APK generation 3 Pokemon were spotted as well and after Hank mentioning ” next secret weapon will be”.
Now with all these new Legendary Dogs and EX Battle Raid for Mewtwo Niantic sure has got a lot of things in their bags for all the fans.Apart from this big discovery in earlier APK generation 3 Pokemon were spotted as well, and after Hank mentioning ” next secret weapon will be launch of the next Pokémon generation,” we can clearly see Gen 3 coming really soon.
As we can assume Generation 3 Pokemon can soon be coming as well. All this positive hope for Generation 3 Pokemon and PVP, Trading is still missing and nothing can be said about trading and when will we see trading in Pokemon GO. Considering PVP Hanke responded to a question about PvP battles by saying that the company is “planning to develop a new battle mode.”
While John Hanke confirmed that Pokemon Go was developing a new way to battle Pokemon, he said that the launch was still several months away at minimum. Hanke mentioned that they were hoping to launch the “new battle system” sometime in 2018.
According to Hank Pokemon Go was working on ways to increase social interactions between players, particularly in order to increase coordination within local communities. As high-level Raids or Legendary Raids need multiple players to beat, Pokemon Go desperately needs a way for players to communicate with each other in-game and alert each other for raids.
While many big cities have Pokemon Go Facebook and Discord groups, Niantic is looking for an internal mechanism to help players communicate with each other.Niantic Clearly shows there so much to be implemented in the game and so many things need to be improved as well.

Pokemon Go already having a blast with its current going Equinox event and Ex raid has something more for its fans. There’s good news for Pokemon Go fans living in Japan. You heard me right only Japan. As Niantic is hosting another region exclusive new event in Japan. Mr. Mime and Unown will be available to capture in late November. From Nov. 23 to 25, both Pokémon will appear in the Tottori Sand Dunes.
Tottori Sand Dunes are the only sand dunes found in Japan, caused by a unique confluence of sediment being pushed out into the Sea of Japan by the Sendai River and then being pushed back into shore by sea currents. The dunes are massive but have recently shrunk in size due to the construction of sea walls to stop tsunamis from wrecking the coast.
The event is largely intended to bring local players out into the area, so Pokémon Go players can enjoy the natural world around them and not just the Pokémon world inside their smartphones
Unown and Mr. Mime are both pretty rare Pokémon. Unown is hard to find across the world, so his appearance at the Tottori Sand Dunes could drag trainers throughout Japan to the location. Meanwhile, Mr. Mime only appeared in Europe for events in the past, so his appearance in Japan is a major opportunity for Japanese Pokémon Go trainers interested in catching …
