Bran Stark has had a rough ride on Game of Thrones. He fell from a tower, saw the death of his father, and even saw Winterfell get taken by Theon Greyjoy. He soon met Jojen and Meera Reed, and together they set out to meet the Three Eyed Raven. Bran was taught a lot of stuff there, about Greenseeing, and the past of this world.
But due to his foolishness, he allowed the Night King to kill the Three Eyed Raven.
Bran is the only person who can see the history, and he has evolved into the Three Eyed Raven himself. While there is nothing wrong with that, he seems to have lost his real identity. He isn’t Bran Stark anymore. He’s someone else entirely.
Bran has reached Winterfell and we saw how he acted when he was greeted by Sansa, or even by Arya. Back in Spoils of War, when Meera wanted to say farewell to him, his didn’t know how to react.
Bran knows more about everyone else than he does about himself. He is now the Three Eyed Raven himself. So, it is obvious that warging, and things like that take up most of time. Isaac Hempstead-Wright, the actor who plays Bran in the show, has had his say on this.
“It’s just this whole idea that Bran has become a much smaller part of the character’s brain, when before 100% of his head was taken up with being Bran Stark. Now, that’s just one tiny file in a huge system. But certainly, he’s almost completely a different character. He acts utterly differently, and really any semblance of personality he used to have has gone”
He then went on to say what the future holds for Bran Stark, and how his abilities may be helpful later on the show.
He said, “That said, we’ve been waiting for this to happen since the beginning. It’s Bran’s fate to become the Three-Eyed Raven.
That has been his destiny from day one; this is where his story arc has been leading up to from the moment he got pushed out of that tower. So the fact we’re here now is actually a bit of a relief. While he may not be that same character, he now has got a lot more to offer. He’s now an incredibly powerful character now; having all the knowledge in the world puts you in a seriously advantageous position.”
However, Bran may not be as dead as we think he is. Isaac Hempstead-Wright seems to think there is still a flicker of Bran left in him. “There is a flicker of Bran left in him, but really, can you imagine putting the entire history of the universe, every single moment, every single second that ever existed in oneperson’s brain? You’d think it would just short-circuit. Bran just becomes this calm, zen character. He’s really like a human supercomputer.”
Of course, and I agree with Bran. He knows everything. He has seen everything that has happened anywhere. You can’t expect him to be normal. He can’t be normal. But the fact that he says there’s a little of Bran in him means that were going to see something interesting from his character soon. Do you think “Bran” is dead? How Game Of Thrones Will End – Theory
Game of Thrones has been going on for quite a while now, and it is no surprise that the show is as big as it is today, since the plot and the battles are absolutely fantastic. On its way, it has racked several awards, and rightly so, since this show has been a master class from the very beginning.
Of course, the book readers would say the books are better, which I would agree with, but the show brings the book to life.
However, there are a lot of things where the book and the show differ, so it is possible for both to have a slightly different ending. At this point, the Game of Thrones show is more of a fan service. You can clearly see the difference between Season 4 and Season 6.
So how exactly will it end? I can’t speak for the books, and I’m here to talk about the show. What Melisandre said a couple of episodes ago holds a lot of significance. She said, “I’ve done my part. I’ve brought Ice and Fire together.”
This was a clear implication towards the first meeting of Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen. So, judging from that, the show has always been about Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen. While Jon represents Ice, Daenerys represents Fire. I do not believe that Ice here means the Others.
So, it is possible that Ice and Fire band together to defeat the Great Other. If you look at where the show is heading towards, we are going to see Jon and Dany team up by the end of the season. As the White Walkers invade Westeros, it is inevitable for both Jon and Daenerys to fight the enemy together, and if you look at it, they both represent Ice and Fire respectively.
Jon was the Lord Commander, he let the Wildlings pass through the wall, he became King in the North, it is obvious Jon Snow is the ‘Ice’ here.
