Pokémon Sun and Moon anime airs stateside starting next month!

Disney XD will begin airing Pokémon the Series: Sun and Moon starting in May. A premiere weekend will open up the series with a three episode feature, with the show airing weekly on Saturday mornings after the weekend special.

The first two episodes will run on May 12 at 9 p.m EST. The series’ third episode will then air May 13 at 9 a.m. ET; Leaving 9 a.m as the regular time slot for the rest of the series.

Check out a trailer for the anime from Pokémon’s Twitter account:

We’ve been following the release of this new series since it’s debut in Japan. The English dub for this anime will be great as’long as none of you are bothered by the animation change for the characters. Ash does look a bit weird in a good way, as his new design looks a bit more cartoon’sh. The new story for Sun and Moon will be just as great as the new games are.

That’s all for now have a wonderful day!
