10,500 Poke Stops and Gyms added to the game in America!

Niantic has further added more partners to their list, with their first NA partner being Sprint.

I’m sure everyone knows what Sprint is by now, if you don’t, Sprint is an American telecommunications holding company that provides service for many Americans. We’re unsure exactly what this partnership will bring other than its deals, i’m expecting tons of money for Niantic to work with on future updates.

We do know as part of this collaboration, Sprint, Boost Mobile and Sprint at Radioshack stores will become PokéStops and Gyms, giving you even more places to stock up on Poké Balls and Razz Berries and to battle your friends.  This is great news allowing more Poke Stops to spread into trainer areas.

This partnership has allowed us to collect a total of 10,500 Poke Stops and Gyms around our communities. This is amazing for us.

Niantic left an update this morning on it with a statement:

As you can see there’s a few events heading our way before the year ends, and yes I said events not event because they clearly state events as in multiple. So be hype as hell for those events and the Generation 2 release that should be happening tomorrow.

If you notice any major changes to game play or have any questions then please tweet me them at @UchihaKoji on twitter so I can help.

That’s all for now, have a wonderful day!
