5 Fall 2016 Anime You Should Give A Try!

This year’s fall season has given us plenty of great anime to watch, whether it’s a brand new anime or another season from an old one. And I must say: if these anime stay this great till the end, this fall might be my favorite anime season of this year! But before we talk about “The best anime season of 2016”, let’s focus on some of the pretty awesome anime from this fall – here are 5 fall 2016 anime we recommend, if you don’t know which anime to begin with this season!

Note: In this list I only mentioned new anime, not a series that already has previous seasons.

#1 3-gatsu no Lion

The 17-year-old boy Rei Kiriyama already has a lot of problems in his life. He moved out of his adoptive parents’ house, since their relationship isn’t the greatest. Since then he lives alone, with no support from anyone, which is why he’s currently living off his salary as a professional Shogi player. When it comes to high school he’s also not the coolest guy in class – fitting in is also a big problem for him. And on top of that his Shogi career isn’t going that well either, so he’s also struggling with earning money.

Rei soon meets the three Kawamoto sisters Akari, Hinata, and Momo, who live a completely different and happy life in a small, but decent home. They become friends and the sisters show Rei a better and much more beautiful side of life.

#2 Yuri!!! on Ice

Yuri!!! on Ice:

Yūri Katsuki is an incredibly good ice skater, who even made it to the Grand Prix Finale and was able to represent his country, Japan. But the end was tragic, when he got defeated – he goes home with a terrible feeling inside; he might even want to quit ice skating. One day though, world champion Victor Nikiforov appears before him along with a very young and talented ice skater who’s name is also Yuri. Together they now work hard to win the next Grand Prix.
