Niantic are being taken to court for ignoring authorities in Netherlands!
The big issue here is the majority of players coming to the beaches in search for Pokemon, specifically beaches of Kijkduin, south of the Hague.
Authorities want to restrict “Virtual Pokemon” from the beaches during certain times, which I cannot write having a straight face .. C’mon guys you really think you can tell a Pokemon whether it can or cannot be there? You’re stepping on the faces of humanity by trying to tell people what they can and cannot do already.
Now the reason why there is a law suit is because Niantic have been ignoring them for quite some time now… Which they should, I mean who are you to tell humans they cannot catch something that doesn’t physically exist.
The Hague authorities said they had been trying to contact Niantic since mid-August but without success. “We had no other choice but to go to court.”
The authorities now “want to ban these small virtual animals in protected areas and in the streets from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am,” the municipality said in a statement. — I cannot believe the audacity these authorities have, this is like when Nestle owners said “Humans don’t have a right to water.” Hague authorities new slogan should be ” Humans don’t have a right to Pokemon or Public beaches ”
Right now i’m comparing the Hague authorities to the Pokemon tracking system, because you both don’t make any f*****king sense, it’s a beach bro .. we’re gonna wanna use it.
The most recent removals were the Hiroshima and Berlin Holocaust memorials. In Poland, the former concentration camp at Auschwitz-Birkenau has also asked to be withdrawn from the game. Players were also banned from entering the Cambodian genocide museum in August and warned not to venture into the Fukushima disaster zone in Japan in July.
ALL OF WHICH MAKE SENSE BECAUSE THEY ARE HISTORICAL DISASTER ZONES NOT BEACHES.
Now the main reason why Niantic would be ignoring these fools, is because of the large majority of businesses that want nothing to do with Pokemon GO. These authorities claim people are littering around the Poke Stops, which is reasonable however bad habits have nothing to do with Pokemon GO. The game did not tell you to buy a soda can and throw it on the floor, you did that yourself.
